Women in Rail Awards
Aims and Objectives

The Women in Rail Awards were established to celebrate and showcase the remarkable achievements of individuals and organisations across the UK rail industry. These awards shine a spotlight on those who are making a positive difference by championing diversity, promoting inclusion, and driving forward innovation and excellence within the sector.

  • To inspire the next generation by highlighting role models who are paving the way for greater equality and representation.

  • To acknowledge the commitment of organisations that are leading the way in creating inclusive workplaces.

Objectives

  • Provide a national platform to share success stories and best practices that encourage greater diversity within the rail sector.

  • Support industry-wide collaboration by bringing together professionals, stakeholders, and organisations united in advancing equality.

  • Reinforce the message that a diverse and inclusive workforce is key to driving innovation, sustainability, and long-term growth in rail.
