The Big Construction Diversity Challenge events provide a unique platform for construction to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace. Through engaging activities and challenges throughout the day, organisations can experience firsthand the value of diverse teams and inclusive cultures.
A diverse workforce brings fresh perspectives, drives innovation, and strengthens collaboration. Companies that actively embrace inclusion create environments where people from all backgrounds can thrive and succeed together.

Aims and Objectives
Launched in 2025 within the construction sector and designed for team building, networking, and fun, the challenge brings together diverse teams to tackle mental and physical tasks, demonstrating the real business benefits of an inclusive workforce and promoting EDI.
The Big Construction Diversity Challenge is an all-inclusive event blending It’s a Knockout and The Krypton Factor elements.
The event highlights the positive impact of diversity by uniting professionals from all levels from undergraduates to CEOs to collaborate and problem-solve. It provides a platform for organisations to showcase their commitment to inclusivity while reinforcing the importance of diverse perspectives in driving industry success.
Beyond team building, the Big Construction Diversity Challenge helps open doors for future talent, inspiring the next generation to explore careers in the industry. By fostering connections and championing inclusion, it plays a vital role in shaping a more diverse and dynamic workforce.
