Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF)
Nimble Media were approached by Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) to assist with their marketing and communications strategy for the rolling stock manufacturers UK & Ireland sector. Nimble Media have played a key part in breaking news from the company, including the announcement their new manufacturing plant being built in Newport, South Wales, their acceptance to bid for the High Speed Two suppliers contract and their success in securing the order for the next Wales and Borders Rail Franchise.
Nimble Media works closely with CAF’s Business Development Director for UK and Ireland to orchestrate their UK marketing schedules, their presence at UK Rail Industry events and organise meetings with the UK, Welsh and Spanish Governments.
Rutland Steady Cook!
Inspired by the popular BBC cooking game show ‘Ready Steady Cook’, the Rutland, Steady, Cook! campaign reached out to local eateries with a request for them to share recipes, which anyone can make using store cupboard and easy to source ingredients. The idea for Rutland, Steady Cook was the brainchild of Nimble’s very own, Vicky Binley. Nimble Media produces the Discover Rutland publication, the county’s official visitor guide and as an active member of the Discover Rutland committee, this idea to help promote and support local hospitality businesses sprang from when Vicky excavated an enormous Haggis from the depths of her freezer, then served it up as a meal for her family for two days straight. By day three, enthusiasm was waning, however, the Haggis underwent a tomato-based transformation and was reborn as a Bolognese sauce.
The benefits of the scheme included;
- Reigniting a passion for cooking meals from scratch at home, rather than relying on convenience food;
- Increasing awareness and use of local produce;
- A greater understanding of food provenance;
- Connecting people through their love of food;
- Inviting everyone to participate and feel part of something bigger;
- Bringing families together around the dinner table to share meals;
- Promoting the amazing hospitality trade in Rutland.
Recipes were designed up to follow the same look and feel as the Discover Rutland Guide, then shared across the Discover Rutland social media channels, enticing budding chefs from across the country!
With just 8 weeks notice Nimble Media delivered a campaign to raise awareness for the Phase 3 roll out of Superfast Broadband for the Digital Rutland campaign.
Activities included a promotional video, 8 local roadshows hosted by an experienced IT provider, a dedicated flyer to promote the scheme and social media campaign and dedicated HTML email campaign followed by 10 case studies to showcase the impact of the project.
The project was well received and a full wash-up and feedback report was delivered to Rutland County Council.
Following a complete website re-design and re-build, Nimble Media continues their work with Melton Mowbray based Mowbray Interiors to marketing their Corporate Interior Services. By creating a series of html-design emails promoting different services offered, including Office Interiors, Mezzanine Flooring and Warehouse Partitioning, the Mowbray Interior services are promoted to a database of over 3000 business owners on a 6-week rotational basis.
Further marketing continues with the recent undertaking of a dedicated social media campaign.
Rail Business Daily
In October 2018 Nimble Media undertook a major project to deliver commercialisation of the dedicated daily email news feed for Rail Business Daily delivering sales revenue to support the design and distribution of the newsletter which reaches over 21,000 inboxes across the rail industry on a daily basis.
Works include selling advertorials and press releases, stand-alone HTML emails, newsletter takeovers, dedicated Guest Writer spots and the delivery of a show guide for Rolling Stock Networking event.
Young Rail Professionals - Rail Week
With just four weeks notice, Nimble Media delivered a campaign to launch over 100 individual events across the UK for the Young Rail Professionals’ ‘Rail Week’ initiative. Aimed at promoting the UK rail industry and inspiring the next generation of rail personnel, Nimble Media undertook an extensive campaign of social media marketing, email campaigns and press releases to encourage participation in a variety of events, including factory open days and careers events and promote the industry as an attractive career choice for young people.
To add a little colour to the nation’s lockdown, Nimble Media – ‘The Home of the Ridiculously Creative’ – launched a drawing competition, affectionately titled ‘CuddleCards’.
In this time where many families and friends are separated, receiving a colourful postcard is a great way to keep in touch and send some virtual hugs to those you can’t be with. We invited budding artists of all ages to pick up their pens, paints and other arty materials and design an A5 postcard that they would like to send to their parents, grandparents, friends and other family members. As a bonus, the winners received 20 A5 Postcards, professionally printed with their design to send to their loved ones!
The response was fabulous, and made judging so difficult! We ended up with 5 winners!
This scheme has now been adopted and rolled out by our friends at Women in Rail, who have run the competition across 6 of their regional groups!
Lake Isle Hotel and Restaurant - Website Re-launch
Nimble Media forged a great relationship with local hotel and restaurant, The Lake Isle. Redesigning and completing their website. Once the new look website was launched, Nimble Media’s in-house team completed full SEO throughout the site and provided visitors with a comprehensive list of local attractions within easy reach of the hotel.
