Merry Christmas!

Festive greetings to you and your loved ones!

We hope this finds you safe, well and ready for Christmas 2020 – at the end of what can only be described as one of the strangest years in our living history.

Nimble would like to share a little message of joy and hope with our wonderful suppliers and customers, as we look ahead to the festive period, and hopefully a better New Year for all.

In the words of Dr Seuss, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory” and there have certainly been many memories made this year…

We have clapped for carers, locked down, unlocked, learnt new words, dined out for less, gone virtual, stayed alert, learnt to socially distance, became masterminds at family quiz time and so much more… We are all fighting a personal battle that ultimately fights a bigger battle and 2020 has been difficult for each and every one of us, as we find the strength to love and support each other.

At Nimble, we have tried to do our little bit to support our customers and community and a few of our highlights from 2020 are:

Delivering ‘Rutland Steady Cook’ to promote our local eateries forced to close doors in lockdown;
Running a ‘CuddleCard’ competition to give parents a little respite with young children while home schooling;
Raising funds as a team with our friends and families by participating in the Railway Children ‘2.6 Challenge’ in lieu of the London Marathon;
Supporting the Women in Rail ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’, as a team with our friends and families, by creating and donating food parcels to local charities, food banks, refuges and care homes.
Sponsoring Barrowden Cricket Club and Oakham Rugby Football Club, our local sports teams
Raising funds for Railway Benefit Fund by entering their Christmas Festive Rail Quiz to enable them to help railway families
Raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support by entering their Christmas Escape Room initiative
