The thought of a website can be a daunting one and often compared to taking a car to the garage – essentially if you are not an expert – and let’s face it not everyone is… it can be easy to fall foul of greedy web developers who see you coming!

At Nimble Media we understand the importance of ensuring your website, whether its a refresh or completely new one, delivers exactly what is required on time and in budget, here is a selection of our recent work.

Station to Station Queen’s Celebration

In October 2015, Nimble Media’s Director Vicky Binley met with Chris Leech MBE and was asked to assist in his initiative ‘Station to Station Queens Celebration’, celebrating HR the Queen’s 90th Birthday. As part of the scheme, Nimble Media delivered a fully interactive website; this included an interactive map showing the 104 events taking place around the UK; a ‘Kids’ page offering different activities to promote rail safety and event participation; competitions for various rail related prizes and promotion of careers within the rail industry. Nimble Media also secured promotion of the S2SQC initiative to over 3.5 million listeners of the national radio station, Magic FM.

Women in Rail Awards

In conjunction with the launch of the Women in Rail Awards, Nimble Media delivered a fully functional micro-site within the existing Women in Rail site, to include: promotion of the event, a booking contact form for attendance and sponsorship opportunities and an interactive nomination system for entries. The website was used as a key promotional tool for the event, including announcing the Celebrity Host for the evening, TV Personality Rachel Riley, and the Awards’ Judging Panel, which included some of the rail industries most senior professionals such as Sir Peter Hendy, Chairman Network Rail, Clair Mowbray, CEO of the National College for High Speed Rail, Paul Plummer, CEO of the Rail Delivery Group and Karen Boswell OBE, Managing Director of Hitachi to name a few.

Big Rail Diversity Challenge

To support the launch of the event, Nimble Media created the Big Rail Diversity Challenge website to provide information for attendees, sponsors and supporting organisations. The website also contains information about the challenges at the event, as well as a contact form for individuals to book teams, enquire about sponsorships and book spectator tickets. Each year the website is updated during the lead up to the event, with new challenges and attendee information. Following the event, a thorough wash up is provided and winners from the day announced via the website. A full image library is available, as well as an archive for previous events that show just how the Big Rail Diversity Challenge has grown over the last three years.

Mowbray Interiors

In just 3 weeks Nimble Media delivered a refreshed website for Mowbray Interiors.
To assist the customer in understanding the stages the project was planned to remove jargon and delivered on time and in budget.

The stages included: creating a bespoke design for the new look and feel of the website with no limitation on amendments to create a website which was clean, easy to navigate and interactively supported with images, based on boxed layout and corporate colours. During the 10 day development process a demo site was available so the client could track live progress. Once developed full testing was completed to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

The Lake Isle

Nimble Media was asked to step in to complete a partially built website where the customer had experienced a poor service from the existing developer.

Taking the frustration out of the project Nimbles team of experts swiftly resolved all issues and in addition delivered a copywriting service to include over 5,000 word for a comprehensive list of local attractions within easy reach of the hotel to improve SEO to include permissions to use images to illustrate.
